Multidisciplinary importance of treatments 

Whichever it is the realized surgery type it is necessary the supervision of the treatment for a group of expert professionals in different areas like nutrition, psychology, physiotherapy, surgery that you/they have the necessary training in the handling of patient bariátricos. 
Alone this way the therapy will have an appropriate success. This way, we emphasize that the surgery doesn't work for if alone and the patient should be committed and anuente to fulfill all the indications that the different members of the team impart him.

• Dr. Gustavo Jiménez MD.   
  General Surgeon, Specialist in General Surgery, advanced Laparoscopic and Bariatric Surgery. Fellow ICS (International Collegue Of Surgeons), Member SAGES (Society of American Gastrointestinal and Endoscopic surgeons), professor of surgery University of Costa Rica, member of costarrican College of Physians and Surgeons, as well as of the Costa Rican association of surgeons. The Dr. Jiménez is the main surgeon of the team and he has wide experience in LAP band, Gastric Sleeve and Gastric By Pass surgery. Certificate with the course of Multidisciplinary Bariatric Surgery.

• Dra. Olga Vega MD.  
  Surgeon, Specialist in General Surgery, laparoscopic and digestive endoscopic procedures. It belongs to the College of Physicians and Surgeons from Costa Rica and she is active member of the surgical bariatric team. Certified with the course of Multidisciplinary Bariatric Surgery. 
  
  
• Dr.Jorge Gutiérrez MD.   
  Specialist in Medicine of Emergencies and General Surgeon, with training in advanced laparoscopia. Incorporate to the College of Doctors and Surgeons from Costa Rica and to the Costa Rican Association of Surgery. Member of the surgical staff.

• Dr. Carlos Mena MD.    
  Specialist in Anesthesiology, incorporate to the College of Physicians and Surgeons from Costa Rica and Costa Rican Association of anesthesiology. The Dr.Mena has wide experience in the anesthesia of patient bariatric patients. Member of the surgical Team. 
   
  
• Licda Valeria Trejos.  
  Graduate in Nutrition, university teacher, member of the bariatric team, participates actively in the preparation and handling of the patients in the pre and post operative from the nutritional point of view. Certified with the course of Multidisciplinary Bariatric Surgery.  
   
  
• Master Yessenia Torres.  
  Master in Clinical Psychology, member of the bariatric team.She participates evaluating the patients in the preoperative one and attending them in the one post operative. Certified with the course of Multidisciplinary Bariatric surgery. 
   
  
• Licda.  Lidia Cordero.  
  Nurse instrumentalist, is part of the surgical equipment collaborating actively with the surgeons in the quirófano and giving attendance to the patients in the recovery process. Certified with the course of Multidisciplinary Bariatric surgery
